Our Story
A Bangkok Team That Knows Both Sides of the Table
Malee Core was built by practitioners who have worked inside Thai organizations — not just advised them from the outside.
Back to HomeWho We Are
Founded on a Simple Observation
Most AI consulting firms in Southeast Asia arrive with frameworks developed elsewhere and try to fit them to local organizations. The teams are often impressive, but the mismatch between what they recommend and what Thai organizations can realistically adopt is a persistent problem.
Malee Core was founded in 2019 by a group of consultants and technologists who had spent years working in-house at Thai enterprises, educational institutions, and government-adjacent bodies. They understood the pace of change that's actually feasible, the internal politics that shape technology decisions, and the cultural dynamics that determine whether a new tool gets used or ignored.
The name "Malee Core" reflects that dual perspective — Malee, a traditional Thai name meaning "flower," represents the cultural rootedness of our approach, while "Core" signals our focus on foundational capability-building rather than surface-level adoption.
Our Mission
Building Durable AI Capability
Our mission is to help Thai organizations develop genuine, lasting AI capability — not just install tools or run workshops, but genuinely shift how teams think about and use technology in their daily work.
We work across three domains — education and training, cybersecurity, and enterprise transformation — because these are the areas where AI can create the most significant and defensible advantages for organizations in Thailand over the next decade.

How We Work
Quality Standards We Hold Ourselves To
These aren't aspirational values — they're the operating standards our clients hold us accountable to in every engagement.
Scoped Deliverables
Every engagement begins with a written scope document. We deliver what we agree to, and raise scope changes before they happen — not after.
Data Confidentiality
All client data is handled under signed NDA. We don't use client information for case studies, training, or benchmarking without explicit written consent.
Capability Transfer
We structure every engagement so your team ends it more capable than when it began. Dependency on external consultants is a sign of poor delivery, not good service.
Ethical AI Framing
AI recommendations include consideration of bias, fairness, and downstream impacts. We align with PDPA requirements and international responsible AI frameworks.
Certified Professionals
Our security practitioners hold CISSP and CISM certifications. Education consultants are trained in instructional design standards aligned with Thai higher education frameworks.
Regular Communication
Weekly check-ins, written progress reports, and a single named point of contact for every engagement. You always know where the work stands.
Our Philosophy
Why We Work the Way We Work
AI adoption in Thai organizations tends to follow a predictable arc. A leadership team attends an international conference, returns with enthusiasm about large language models or AI-powered analytics, and sets an ambitious internal target. Six months later, a handful of tools have been purchased, most remain underused, and the team that was supposed to champion adoption is now managing expectations in the other direction.
This pattern isn't a failure of ambition. It's a failure of sequencing. Organizations adopt AI tools before they've built the foundational data literacy, process clarity, or change management capacity that makes those tools effective. Malee Core's approach reverses that sequence — we start with the organizational foundation and introduce tools when the conditions for their success are in place.
For educational institutions and training providers, this means understanding how learners actually move through your content before designing AI interventions. For security teams, it means mapping your current threat visibility before adding AI-powered monitoring layers. For enterprises, it means clarifying where AI can genuinely accelerate strategy before building the technology roadmap.
Malee Core operates from Suan Luang, Bangkok — close enough to the major commercial and government districts to maintain regular client relationships across the city, and embedded enough in the local professional ecosystem to remain genuinely connected to the organizations we serve.
